Anyone else used to think that doing things that focused on yourself was selfish? You aren’t alone!
Luckily our culture is learning to value self-care and self-love more and more, but we have learned how to be intentional with how we do it. It isn’t as easy as taking a daily bubble bath and calling ourselves taken care of. (if only!) But if that’s not what it takes then what should we be doing?
My belief is that it starts with habits and routines, and grows from there. So this week we are starting with some easy questions.
What is your morning routine?
How do you make sure you are staying on track with your habits or goals?
Some of us have routines that are created by accident, and some have routines that were created on purpose. Which are you? There is no right answer here. Just a moment to reflect.
Now that you have thought about your routines and habits let’s look into how it’s going.
What is working well with your routine?
What would you like to try or change about your routine or habits?
Keep in mind that some changes you can implement tomorrow and some will take time. Set a realistic timeline for when you want to see changes. And don’t try to change too many things at once. It is impossible to completely change your whole life in one day. BUT you can dramatically impact it by making one small change. What is that ONE thing you will change?
See you one monday!
