Session 001

WorkSesh.navy

To ensure you are living out your vision 2020 I am inviting you to Work Day to get shit done and be inspired by others doing the same. The space we are creating together is to bounce ideas, share inspiration and hold each other accountable to your goals. Whether your working on a passion project or a full time remote job, this time is for you to be productive and build community.

Details

Structure

Each session starts with introductions and sharing your goal for the Work Day. I’ve learned that sometimes the act of saying your focus out loud helps me stay on track. Most of the time is available to work individually, but with people to bounce ideas off of when you get stuck. There are spaces available for collaboration or a change of scenery if needed. By the end of the session we will check in as a group to share what has been accomplished and what you will continue to work on.

And then what?

After each session everyone will have the opportunity to share celebrations and challenges with the group. Once we wrap a session there are a few options. 1. You can keep working in one of the spaces (depending on availability moving to a different space might be required) if you are on a roll. 2. Connect with new or old friends and make plans to enjoy a non-work related space together. 3. Head off to your next plans, hopefully with progress toward a goal accomplished and maybe some new friends.

Expectations

This is not meant to be a library and it is not meant to be a cafeteria. When you get stuck, ask the group for help. If you need a moment alone, request a private space or walk outside to the courtyard. The only request is that you honor your own needs and those of others.
